Chiptronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. was established in Malaysia in 1989 as an equipment, tools and machinery supplier. From the very beginning, our guiding philosophy has been straightforward: deliver the right product, on time, with honest service, and stand behind it with full technical support.
We earned the trust of leading manufacturers early on and were appointed as authorised distributors and business partners for some of the world’s most respected equipment brands. What began as a purely trading company gradually evolved into something more: a full technical support facility offering repair, calibration, training and one-stop process solutions for electronics, automotive and medical manufacturing customers.
Today, Chiptronics operates three offices across Peninsular Malaysia — our headquarters in Penang, and branches in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru — serving a wide customer base from global MNCs to local SMIs.
As an ISO 9001 certified company, our portfolio spans more than 30 global brands across 11 product categories. We continue to expand our services into intelligent automation, robotics, and AI.

Our first important distributorship
Yaesu Keikogyo was one of our pioneering principals.
Expanding our coverage into the industrial sectors of Southern Malaysia, Singapore, and Batam, Indonesia.
Additional distributorships
Henkel Loctite, Chemtronics, Techspray, and Donaldson BOFA were added to our portfolio.
Metcal and Techcon joined us as principals.
With approvals from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the Ministry of Defence (MoD), we were authorized to supply directly to the government and military sectors.
Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) was added to our portfolio as our first Industry 4.0 product.
Chiptronics achieves accreditation under the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System — formal recognition of the rigorous standards applied across our sales, service and support operations.

When I started Chiptronics in 1989, I had a simple belief: if you treat your customers well, deliver what you promise and stay honest when things go wrong, the business will take care of itself. That philosophy hasn’t changed in 37 years.
We have watched Malaysia’s manufacturing sector evolve from labour-intensive assembly lines to fully automated facilities — and we’ve been part of that journey at every step. The next chapter is even more exciting. AI, robotics, intelligent logistics — these are not threats to manufacturers; they are tools. And we intend to help our customers use them well.
